IND vs AUS 1st T20I: The first T20 match between India and Australia in the five-match series was played in Visakhapatnam. Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, won the match by 2 wickets.
IND vs AUS 1st T20I Full Match Highlights: The Indian team, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, must have given some relief to the fans by defeating Australia by 2 wickets in the first match of the T20 series. Suryakumar, who is commanding India for the first time, played an important role in helping the team win by scoring 80 runs at a strike rate of 190.48. For the team, Josh English had scored 110 runs in 50 balls with the help of 11 fours and 4 sixes, which could not help the team win. Chasing the target, the Indian team won by 8 wickets in 19.5 overs. This was the biggest run chase in T20 International for India, which happened under the captaincy of Suryakumar.
India had won the toss and decided to bowl first, but the bowlers of Men in Blue could not live up to the expectations. Australian bowlers could not defend the target of 209 runs. Tanveer Sangha took 2 wickets but gave away 47 runs in 4 overs. However, Jason Behrendorff bowled well and took 1 wicket and cost only 25 runs in 4 overs. Apart from this, Matthew Short took 1 wicket for 13 runs in 1 over. Whereas Sean Abbott also managed to take 1 wicket.
