India are the only team to remain unbeaten so far in the tournament and a win on Sunday will not only make them champions but also equal Australia’s all-time record of winning 11 World Cup matches without defeat.

This World Cup is all about the fearless cricket played by Rohit Sharma, the big runs scored by Virat Kohli and other batsmen, and the most dangerous bowling attack India has ever seen. While Kohli is on top in terms of run-scoring, Mohammed Shami has been the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.

Australia, who pull no punches and are known to up their game in important matches, will be looking to “silence the 1.3 lakh spectators” at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Their captain Pat Cummins said on Saturday, “…130,000 fans are going to be here supporting India. So it’s going to be amazing. They are playing really well, remaining undefeated in this tournament.
